APG is a private school situated at Capital Governorate Manama, Khamis, Kingdom of Bahrain.
Having passion to provide quality education to the children of Bahrain and with the objective to encourage learners to become highly educated citizens with international mindset, Mr. Mohammed Moosa Al A'ali founded APG in June 1996 and named it Arabian Pearl Gulf to carry the national reflection attached to the country, Bahrain, as Pearl of the Gulf.
Inspired to meet the growing demands of Bahrain Government to encourage private sectors to open educational institutions, Mr. Al A’ali opened APG to 120 students and initially offered three levels—preschool, kindergarten and grade one—during the first year of its operation.
Realizing and recognizing every child’s equal rights to quality education at fair cost and with its aim to develop the child’s learning abilities, academic and social skills that will enable him/her to cope up with life’s daily challenges, APG offers its educational services to Bahraini and non-Bahraini children who share a common genuine desire and strong capability to meet the school’s high standards.
APG is successfully run by its School Principal, Mrs. Ebtisam Saeed Al-Zeera, a Bahraini citizen who believes that the learner is the center of the learning process and that all other decisions and activities are built around the integral development of the learner.
For nearly fourteen years, APG has grown steadily on a high professional scale having high emphasis on morals and values. It has expanded significantly with more than 1000 students from Preschool to Grade 12 in the School Year 2009-2010 and has been authorized to offer international certificates such as the IGCSE for Grades 9 &10 and the IB Diploma Programme for Grades 11 & 12. Students who successfully complete the Grade 12 level earn a National Certificate recognized by the Ministry of Education and at the same time an International Baccalaureate Diploma authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization. The IB Diploma Programme is an international education and the IB Diploma is a world-recognized qualification on a university level.
The APG School community, consisting of administrators, teachers, staff, parents and other members, is committed to:
