MATH AND SCIENCE DEPARTMENTS HOLD QUIZ BEE COMPETITION
The collaboration of the Math and Science Departments was not limited to the exhibition which was held on 26-29 April 2010. It also highlighted the holding of the Battle of the brains, that is, the Math and Science Quiz Bee Competition held in Pearl Gulf Hall.
In this event, the best two in both areas of learning were chosen from each class of Grades 1 to Grade 3 days before the specified dates. For grade 5 – 9, groups of three were chosen from each class to compete against other classes.
The participants showed their wits as they out-stripped each other in each level of the competition, from easy to difficult round. After a series of breathtaking course of equation and answer, the best among the bests came up as winner. The complete list of Math and Science whiz kids is as follows:

Kudos to all parents who were very supportive and very proud as they watched their children braved the brain challenge. The presence of the ever dynamic principal, Ms. Ebtisam Al Zeera and the ever enthusiastic vice principal in the competition surely boost the morale of each participants. Notwithstanding the support and guidance of the two coordinators, Ms. Yhen Caluyo of the Mathematics Department, Ms. Neeta Verghese of the Science Department and all the teachers of both Math and Science Departments who exerted all their time and effort, made the said endeavor a resounding success.
