Speech Fest
The 4th of May marked the most awaited day for the grade 9 students as they voiced out their thoughts, opinions and perspectives on the different issues that concern the youth and the society. The Speech Fest with the theme The Youth in a Globalized Society was participated with 12 grade 9 students, who excellently displayed their speaking skills in front of their proud parents, higher-level students, supportive teachers and guests.
Noor Abdulla bagged the 1st place award, Sadiq Hussain placed 2nd, Amina Hameed got the 3rd place award, Zainab Khalaf placed 4th and Fatima Mohammed won the 5th place award.
Ms. Ebtisam, in her inspiring message, congratulated all the participants for coming out their way to voice out their opinions and aspirations for themselves and the society that they live in. She also reminded the youth to continue to be responsible with their actions and decisions for the betterment of their future.
The event ended with a Reader’s Theatre presentation entitled “The True Story of the Three Little Pigs” from some of the selected students of grade 9. It was indeed a successful event.
