CookFest 2010
The APG’s first ever COOKFEST took place in the Art Hall on the 5th May 2010 with the theme: APG Chefs Sumptuous Creation and Innovation. The said event was headed by Ms. Emily Buzon supported by the school administrators and teachers. The participating Chefs from Grade 4 to 8 have displayed their own unique style of cooking and have prepared sumptuous delicacies that brought tremendous experience to themselves and to everyone present in the event. The school principal, Ms. Ebtisam Al Zeera was also present to feed the mind of the participants with her inspiring message about the importance cooking.
Kawther Mohammed was given the title APG Best Chef Champion, Sajida Abbas won the 1st Runner-up, Fatima Abbas won the 2nd Runner-up, and Manar Mahdi won the 3rd Runner-up. Minor awards were also awarded to the following: Ammal Bassim won the Best in Soup, Fatima Abbas won the Best in Salad Starter, Mariam Salah won the Best in Sandwich Making, Bayan Makki won the Best in Pasta Dish, Zainab Fahdel won the Best in Cake Baking, Nooran Tawfiq won the Best in Main Dish, Maram Mohammed and Afnan Fadhel won the Best in Sweets.
